The designer of the software communication platform Whispir (ASX:WSP) has entered into a three-year agreement with Singaporean telecom giant Singtel. The $1.3 million deal will allow Whispir to upgrade Singtel’s SMS alert systems while improving other communications services such as WhatsApp for internal users. Shares are on the move, trading 5.2 percent higher at $2.01.
National real estate firm The Agency Group (ASX:AU1) has appointed Geoff Lucas to the role of general manager and chief executive officer. This comes after the Board of Directors and current CEO Paul Niardone identified the hiring and growth potential on the easy side of the nation and thereby recognized the importance for the CEO to be sited accordingly. Mr Niardone, based in Western Australia, has been appointed as Executive Director and will continue to drive real estate growth in this region. The stock is trading 2.1 percent higher at $0.05.
Meanwhile, online lending platform Harmoney (ASX:HMY) has signed a $20 million corporate debt facility funded by OneVentures and Viola Credit. It is structured with 60 percent as term notes and 40 percent as convertible bonds, with an exercise price of $2.40. The move comes after the company unveiled its asset-backed security transaction in October in a bid to support loan portfolio growth. The stock is flat at $1.80.
